cjpostTNGera (Final) - File Description  


Description:
cjpostTNGerapack (FINAL) - My new and final major pack, featuring men and ships form
the post era of The Next Generation era of Star Trek.

Features multiple classes and different type per role (many seen in STO). Plus
a new addon with TNG men using a Phaser pistol and Rifle (varient based on STO and TNG
styles).

There is also a revision to my white hulled TNG Connies featuring improved fire arcs on
the aft bank, registry texture improvements on the nacelles, a new bridge for the CL (
light cruiser varient), and some new textures and a different name for the CL as well.

Third, All have improved fuel supply armament so even weaker units can survive the
explosion of a nearby craft of object on the ground and fuel leaks are much more rare,
they also have proper armor and strenght basis on their class. Also new bridges for them
and though not to scale, the Celestial Class is undoubtfully the largest (also the
largest I have built without flight issues) of the fed ships well over double the size
of my Constitution Class ships and a third larger than my Galaxy class ships.

I want to note that my pics of the units will show some of this triple pack (that I'm
releasing in three parts the preTNG, TNG, postTNG) and some from the others, all done to
show style and size comparison due to the fact that I was able to use an enlarged ship
on them (also depending on your PC will determin how many huge ships you can use in a
battle).

I will be releasing a few more of my TOS era hero ships in the future that I have
already completed (now considered standard projects), as well as my TNG adversaries
addons once completed and tested, now detailed info in the project file.

It may be a while before I have the others Finals ready due to the other addons I
am working on as well.

Project update on WWI to WWII battleships pack - I need to finish texture
conversion currently at 90% (Two ships released and Two Ghost ships released)

-Features-

THIS IS A FULLY FUNCTIONAL FINAL version
It has been only tested on 1.96, and on 1.20

All addons included
The ship addons requiring only default crew to pilot.
All ships having a armored fuel supply to prvent easily exploding
Some have increased armor sections (explanation in read me and error and effects)
All ships have a bridge - With detailed animations are on these
(many new styles included)
Improvements to already released ships that are in the pack
Features large bording radius to simulate transporters
The ship units can heal and have a specific weapon arc
Ships are animated--
Engine Glow, Exterior Lights, Interior Displays
All shutoff and turn on appropriately
Weapons Fire and Damage displays on all bridges-3 differnet weapon types
There are ground personnel/ship personnel with their own weapons as well

Captain -2400, Commander -2400, Lt. Commander -2400, Lieutenant -2400, Benzite
-2400, Tactical Officer -2400 and Science Officer -2400
(note no v1.20, there will be an error message on pre-Resistence version that
says "no proxy berretta" or "no proxy dakeloid", just click ok in the box
and the mission will load, however you will not have the use of your pistol
style phaser type II, I have don them in both styles so you can still use a
varient without issue.)
(I might release a v1.20 for this allowing the use of the hand phaser for v1.20)
ALSO PLEASE NOTE, the Benzite isn't the greatest quality, I had great trouble
with that one and couldn't spend more time on it, sorry!

-Installation-
Just copy the texture addon and the addons you want into your Operation Flashpoint
Addons folder, and you should be ready to go.

-FAQ-

Required version ofp 1.20
Tested on 1.96 and 1.20
This is a new pack
All ships have a bridge, transport 36 personnel, and have transport like boarding
or large boarding radius (425m), also all can heal, have running lights, tracers
(like beam), and lighted hulls depending on design

This pack has units that operate at the speed of my original tng style, also armored
and greater fuel quanity in a day you use a quarter of your fuel supply. The weapons
are similar or the same in some cases to my orignal and upgraded TNG and post era
units. Armored sections are based on the originals to balance out the differences
meaning its competive at its level within the realm it should be. Also all have
scan ranges at the original tng unit level.

AI handles them very well too
Ai men are also really good in aerial combat, they use the weapons very well
All ship classes and heros have their own registry number.

-Bugs-
Not actual scale, due to flight and game function problems when enlarged
Recommended Maximum flyinheight 125 depending on map for waypoint
function
Recommended Minimum flyinheight 70 depending on map for waypoint
function
--special note--The Celestial, Noble, and Majestic classes may have a little horizontal
(side to side) rocking after taking damage, but not before! (not as severe as the USS
Vega).

-Additions-
If the ships come across to strong, than in the editor give them somewhere between
50% and 75% health to make them easier to destroy. (roughly 1/2 to 3/4 of the slider bar)

-WEAPONS-

listed in weapon pack

on all the first is long ranged repeater phaser bank

the second is the photon bank

the third is the close range phaser bank

A detailed weapon stats on these is included

--special note--Hero ships and Dervish escorts have special weapons, from tos bank
retrofits, cruisers with heavy weapons normally on escorts, to heavy pulse cannons
(on the escorts), these are not an error and you can change them if you wish!

--another note--cj_fctex has traking photons, there are three type of projectiles
cjfcphota is a blue tracking torpedo, to add if you would like
cjfcphot is a white non-tracking torpedo, and cjfphota is a red non-tranking torpedo
also to add if you like!

--final note--cj_fctex also has a surface phaser for anti personnel assaults
cjfccont is a retrofitted tos phaser bank for suurface assaults, to add if you like!
